Wishing you a Merry Christmas, 2017

Anita Pava – Friday, December 15, 2017

We feel very lucky as graphic designers to have worked on such a variety of projects during 2017, with an incredible range of businesses in Tasmania, interstate and overseas.

On reflection, we’ve designed logos and corporate identities, packaging, brochures, posters and catalogues, press/magazine adverts, we’ve built websites, designed signage and display booths, t-shirts and merchandise, smartphone apps, and more. And we’ve loved every minute!

We thank you for your business, support and friendship during 2017, and we wish you a magical Christmas.

Please read on…

Elements of Thyme

Elements-of-ThymeSydney-based nutrition enthusiast and writer, Claire Job launched her new venture Elements of Thyme in late 2017. Her core business is creating healthy recipes and meal plans for chronically ill individuals and their carers. We had the pleasure of creating her logo and stationery. The result is a hand drawn twig of thyme in a circular crest, representing the culinary and holistic nature of her work.

Love Your Guts Co

Working closely with our client, we created the packaging for their water kefir range. The packaging included a diecut label, printed with opaque inks onto a transparent stock. The clean and simple design complements their current sauerkraut labels.

As part of their marketing package we designed a multi-panel DL brochure and A4 flyer. The design incorporated their new label, beautifully styled photographic imagery and a bright colour palette to create visually rich and informative printed material. Visit www.loveyourguts.co for more info.

Jenard Training

Jenard Training in Hobart, came to us looking for a branding refresh. Their new logo was designed using modular interconnecting shapes representing the building of knowledge and connections. A modern font teamed with a fresh colour palette was chosen to suit their tagline 'A fresh approach to training’. We then created a suite of stationery which included business cards, lettherhead, with compliment slip and branded sticker.

Love Your Guts Co Photoshoot

We had the pleasure of coordinating our client's photography shoot in October 2017. A full day shoot with photographer Heath Holden produced character-filled product imagery, which was lovingly styled by Anita and team. The images are showcased on their website and printed marketing material. Heath was recently published in the National Geographic magazine.

SIGNAGE

Australian Masters Games

We were delighted to have the opportunity to create the signage for the 2017 Australian Masters Games events. Our creative brief was to design a suite of signage for indoor and outdoor events. The finished design used highly visible typography, splashes of bright colour and free flowing swooshes inspired by the games logo. This design featured on ‘teardrop’ flags, pop up a-frames, stadium/fencing signage and the ‘winners’ archway.

piyura kitina

We were delighted to work with the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre Inc this year, to redesign their piyura kitina signage (meaning 'little native hen' there are certainly many in the area) on the eastern shore of Hobart. The signage provides a site map of the local area along with public access zones that all can enjoy.

TasTAFE

Quirky merchandise was produced for the TasTAFE ’Working Well Living Well’ project launch. Brightly coloured, branded usb storage devices and pens were created for the event. The information booklet features student artworks. Anita was a mentor to students working on the booklet artworks and content, and the Stream team worked hard to make it all come together cohesively.

Church Hill Brewery

Church Hill Brewery is a boutique craft beer that’s hand crafted in the Huon Valley. Our brief was to harness the idea of the eternal quest for the ultimate beer product. In doing this, we worked with our client to create a brand that was also reflective of an ancient look and feel. Along the way we’ve designed beer labels, signage and corporate stationery (business cards). Church Hill Brewery now have their beer on tap in many pubs and venues around Hobart, Tasmania. Visit www.churchhillbrewery.com.au for more info.

Experience Tasmania

Experience Tasmania offer luxury bus tours in Tasmania, as part of the Gray Line Australia network. Our brief was to design a USB device that included resources for their wholesale customers, and we thought a vehicle key was the perfect medium to carry this message. Visit www.experiencetas.com.au for more info.
