Wishing you a Merry Christmas, 2016

We would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas for 2016

In tradition of our Christmas cards, this year I asked the team “What would you like for Christmas?”. Our responses were then married up with animal personas of each other, just for fun. All pictured inside our animated Christmas card.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our clients, suppliers and friends, and hope that you enjoy a wonderful Christmas break and New Year celebrations.

Best wishes,

REFLECTIONS OF 2016

We feel very lucky as graphic designers to have worked on such a variety of projects during 2016, with an incredible range of businesses in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and overseas.

It has been our privilege to help businesses that have ranged from start-ups, small, and medium-to-large businesses. Industries have ranged from craft beer distilleries and whisky makers, tourism operators, investors, farming and manufacturing, administration and professional services, primary and specialist health care, beauty and hair stylists, fitness, retailers, government and city councils, tertiary learning institutions, building and trade, illustrators, real estate, accommodation, and more.

On reflection, we’ve designed logos and corporate identities, packaging, brochures, posters and catalogues, press/magazine adverts and billboards, we’ve built websites, designed shopfronts and signage, display booths, t-shirts and merchandise, murals, database systems, smartphone apps, and more.

Along the way we’ve also been able to support charities and not-for-profit organisations such as Fragile X, Mace Tasmania and Blah Australia, Rural Alive and Well, and more.

And we’ve loved every minute!

A COLLOQUIUM OF COLLABORATORS

The staff at Stream Art Design participated in the second annual ‘Women in Design’ Colloquium held inside the Design Tasmania centre’s divine architectural walls, in Launceston Tasmania.

We were spoilt with many articulate speakers from all around Australia, covering design topics from curation, journalism, architecture, furniture and jewellery design, ceramics and costume design. This year’s theme was ‘collaboration’ and it inspired our speakers presentations and set the tone for the weekend’s program.

Despite being a Winter program (and the heating not working inside), there was plenty of warmth and good vibes in the room all weekend.

It was wonderful to meet with other women in different creative industries, and converse about their creativity and success in business, admin responsibilities, aspirations and inspirations.

Kate and Carleen felt it was a fabulous opportunity for personal and professional development, and enjoyed spending time with like-minded people.
