Wishing you a Merry Christmas, 2014

Anita Pava – Wednesday, December 17, 2014

We wish you a very Merry Christmas for 2014.

In asking our 'Stream team' what everyone wished for this Christmas, the responses included: a new treatment for fragile x syndrome; a bumper strawberry crop; to have a good laugh; run in a triathlon next year; a tropical holiday; stop the chickens escaping and eating lettuces; an obedient puppy; and my own wish for good paragliding weather. These wishes were all incorporated into our Christmas wreath design, below.

We do hope that Santa brings to life your wishes this year for Christmas. Our wishes for you, are to enjoy safe and happy celebrations with your loved ones. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and friendship during 2014.

Best wishes,
Anita

Recent news…

Speaking in Costa Rica & Panama

Anita was thrilled to be asked to present a number of topics, to medical professionals travelling within the exotic locations of Costa Rica and Panama.

Medical practitioners came from the UK and all over Australia, to further their training and development … and also experience the wildlife, culture and life in Central and South America. Accredited by RACGP, the education program was in accordance with their strict guidelines for General Practitioners. Anita presented two topics – 'website design for health care'; and 'social media for health care professionals' – in a very interactive presentation model, lead by Dr Howard McCormick and Mathew Lazarow of Amaco Travel.

You can read an overview on our blog for more details. Read on…

Our community

This year we were delighted to not only assist multiple charities, but also organisations that our clients are involved with and dear to their hearts, as well as our own.

Assisting our client, Tassie Smiles Dental, for the Embassy Church in Hobart – they have a wonderful program and you can visit their website www.embassychurch.com.au for more details.

An upcoming project that's the initiative of 'MACE' – Motorcyclists Advocating Child Empowerment. Our client, Cherry Hill Coolstores asked us to be involved and we were happy to be able to offer our design services for gratis. If you know of a child or teenager that needs empowering, please put them in contact with MACE: www.facebook.com/MACEtasmania

New website for Stream Design

We were pleased to launch our new website in October this year, and it had been over four years since our previous design went online – so it certainly got its air time and was well overdue.

Along with the design revamp, a new initiative commenced as well. Every month, we aim to bring you handy 'how to' tips on a range of topics. The most recent one being 'how to take great photos' from our resident photographer Kate Stokes – it could be a handy read, prior to your Christmas holiday photo snapping. We love helping you look good, so check out our blog for all the pro tips. Read on…

And if there's a topic you'd like to see covered, let us know and we'll schedule it for 2015.

Keeping it social

Did you know that 1 in 10 people these days are addicted to Facebook? And for every seven minutes spent online, one minute is dedicated to social media.

This introduces the fact that we have quite a good coverage on social media, with our favourite's being Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We'd love you to connect with us, so we can follow you enthusiastically too.

Christmas closures

Our office will close from 12noon on Tuesday 24th December, until 9am on Monday 5th January, 2015.

For any emergencies during that time, please SMS Anita on 0419 323 077 or email studio@streamdesign.com.au

We wish you a Merry Christmas,
